Funsepa was founded in 2004 in Guatemala in memory of businessman Sergio Paiz Andrade, visionary leader, and promoter of technology and education for the sustainable development of our country. 

Sergio firmly believed in the power of technology as a tool for development.  That belief is our guiding. Our organizational values are inspired in his entrepreneurial spirit, his technological curiosity, his vocation as an educator, and his love for his country, Guatemala.
